I have to admit that I really do love my minions. I get sent all kinds of stuff, mostly photos or emails letting me know that the Army is in good hands and our cause is spreading.
Recently additions to the minion regiment are BofstaOne and HoflerOne, yes they are code names to protect their diabolical innocence. We've been having a bit of a time together as I infiltrated their suburb, house and even their school... I kid you not. I think that teachers reading the HiiRagi manifesto as part of their curriculum should be enforced. It sounds kind of creepy because it is, however all's well, that ends well and two of our Occupational Forces have been enlisted in a rad household where our cause reign supreme. Here is the photographic evidence:
Battling the fearsome beast a.k.a Wasabi the miniature dachshund.
The beast (a.k.a Wasabi) subdued.
Ah, it makes me happy...

A HiiRagi customers warning....
Here's an amusing story from a HiiRagi customer. Before Christmas she came to the stall to buy a present (in the form of a hoodie) for her son who was in Peru. Present bought, she put together a couple of other items including a book, some sweets, the usual present fillers and happily posted it all off to South America where her grateful son would receive this bounty. The appropriate time passed for the arrival of present and the son dutifully called to say thank you, the book and bits and bobs were great but he couldn't understand why she had put a crumpled woman's shirt in the parcel for him. Crumpled woman's shirt? WTF?! It turned out that somewhere between Australia and Peru (we guessed it was probably Peru) the parcel was opened for whatever purposed postal services open parcels and when confronted by the sheer beauty and usefulness of a HiiRagi 'Resistance is Futile' hoodie, the postal worker just had to have it. And so now, somewhere in Peru is a postal worker wearing our hoodie... it's kind of cool, in a weird way....
I wonder where he got the shirt from....

Minion Inspiration: "The Lawyer" (take note other minions)
When you are the leader of a diabolical robot army, you need a certain amount of self belief and ego to maintain the faith in your cause. Luckily for me I have a horde of awesomely inspiring minions to keep me going. Check this out:
Yep, this minion, let's call her "The Lawyer", has amassed an army of her own to take the HiiRagi cause out into the world. Soon she will be unstoppable. Brings tears to my eyes to be honest....
"The Lawyer" - we salute you.

HiiRagi left speechless by HiiRagi minion...
Sometimes my minions can leave me a little bit speechless. This lucky badge, which has been on the blog before, has been all over south east Asia, including Borneo.
But what made me truly speechless was this:
I think this sets a whole new standard...

Design;made Market on this Sunday!
Yes, I know I trawl off to Salamanca Market on weekends but on Sunday there is to be another awesome market:
Yep, Designed;made this Sunday (6th May) from 9am to 3pm you can see a huge range of Tasmanian Designers selling their wares in the Princes Wharf Shed No.1 (inside! out of this weather! Hurrah!). These is a great range of stuff from my own toys, tees etc. to beautiful jewellery from the super cool Emily Snadden and Otekah to furniture (it's put on by the Furniture Designers Association) to ceramics and gorgeous hand made knives by one of my personal favourites. Oh, and the infamous El Capitano Blueberry will be there too.
Oh, and I will have some exciting new things (beside the new tees), if I get time today I will post some piccies....as a hint, I'm giving you two words: ART PRINTS. Oh, you KNOW it.

Lazzzzer Wielding Minion!
Yep, HiiRagi minions are cool. Just look at this one, who for the sake of protecting his identity we shall call 'Dan'. 'Dan' is wearing one of HiiRagi's more popular hoodies whilst harnessing the power of lazer fingers. If only all minions were able to do this, the world would be our oyster. Learn from this diabolical example, that's all I can say....
Thanks to Blueberry and 'Dan' for these images of their dedication to the HiiRagi cause.
